What we are not

Not a course. Not a tutor. An organizer.

We do not sell lessons and we do not replace teachers. Other people already do those things well. What nobody was doing is organizing: classes, homework, tests, grades, all merged into one day you can actually read.

School comes first. It is the anchor, always on. The SAT is an optional add-on that fits around school, never over it. If your week fills up, the SAT bends. School never does.

How we decide

A clear path beats more content

The internet has enough practice questions to last several lifetimes. What students lack is a sequence: what to do today, what to do next, and permission to ignore the rest. PeakScore is the sequence.

The plan bends around your life

School, activities, rest. The plan reshapes itself around all of it, never the reverse. A schedule you cannot keep is not a plan, it is a guilt machine, and we refuse to build one.

Honesty about numbers

Real practice scores from real tests. College SAT numbers with sources. No invented statistics, no fake testimonials, no percentage improvements we cannot prove. If we cannot source it, we do not show it.

The story

It began as
our own problem.

Two brothers in Brazil, one shared school life, and no tool that treated school and the SAT as one calendar.

The mess

Sticky notes and five apps

School deadlines in one place, SAT prep in another, grades in a spreadsheet, the calendar ignoring all of it. Every Sunday was spent re-planning the week by hand.

The idea

One merged day

The realization was simple: homework, test prep, and SAT work are not separate lives. They compete for the same afternoons. A tool should merge them and referee.

The build

Made for ourselves first

We built the first version for exactly two users: us. Every feature had to survive our own week before it earned a place. Most did not.

Our own school year as QA

Real classes, real tests, a real SAT date. When the plan broke, we felt it personally by Wednesday. That feedback loop is still how PeakScore is built.

Founder

Started PeakScore to fix his own Sunday-night scheduling ritual. Owns the plan engine and the principle that school always comes first, and still loses to Hippo at Desmos duels more than he admits.

Rafael Kato

Co-founder

The first user and the toughest critic. If a screen confuses Rafael, it gets rebuilt, and anything that feels like homework about homework gets vetoed.
