Common questions.

Everything you need to know about PeakScore.

Is PeakScore really free?
Yes, completely. PeakScore is free to use. We direct you to resources that are also mostly free — like Khan Academy and Bluebook. College Panda and Erica Meltzer books are paid separately, but PeakScore itself costs nothing, and you can get very far with just the free resources.
How is PeakScore different from Khan Academy or a tutor?
Khan Academy is where you go to practice. PeakScore tells you what to practice, in what order, and for how long — based on your specific timeline and starting point. Think of PeakScore as the GPS, and Khan Academy as the road. A tutor costs $100/hour. PeakScore is free and equally organized.
What information do I need to get started?
We ask: your SAT date, your current score estimate (or you can start with a diagnostic), how many hours per week you can study, your target universities, and which subjects feel weakest. From there, your schedule is ready immediately.
What if I don't know my current score?
No problem. Your very first session will be a full Bluebook diagnostic test. We use that score to calibrate your schedule from that point forward. You can always update your score after each practice test you complete.
Can I use PeakScore if my SAT is only a few weeks away?
Yes. The schedule adapts to your available time. With 3 weeks left, PeakScore focuses on the highest-impact topics and full practice tests — maximizing your score gain with the time you have.
Will PeakScore tell me exactly what to study each day?
Yes — that's the whole point. Every session in your calendar includes a specific title, step-by-step tasks, links to the exact Khan Academy lessons or College Panda chapters to use, a key insight, and an estimated time. You never have to wonder "what should I study today?"
